Join us on May 13 @ The Port by NSLC for a sit down tasting of the incredible wines by one of Piomontes most prominent wine families, Pio Cesare hosted by Silvio Marocco.
Silvio joined Pio Cesare at the beginning of 2020, a few weeks before the pandemic.
With a background in Gastronomic studies, he began working as a waiter in fine dining restaurants during high school, and at the age of 28 he became front office manager in a prestigious hotel in the Barolo region.
At the age of 37 he met Pio Boffa, the 4th generation of Pio Cesare, and a few
months later he joined the Pio Family. Silvio takes care of trade visits, tastings and assists the Family by promoting the highly regarded wines of Pio Cesare in Italy and abroad.
